Standard sizes Made
to measure How to take measurements
Standard sizes
All Billie R garments are sized to the NZ average
size chart .
Height is the best guide for choosing your child's correct size.
Send measurements to sales@BillieR
if you need advice.
IMPORTANT: if your childs waist or
chest size is slightly bigger than our size chart then because
of the generous sizing in our garments there is no need to go up a size.
Made-to-measure
As most of our garments can be cut &
made individually we can especially
make a garment for you for just a small extra charge of 20%.
If your child is not of a standard size
and is
tall, short, narrow, or wide then contact us with their measurements
on
sales@BillieR to establish their correct
sizing.
How to take measurements
The tape measure must be parallel to the floor
for waist, hip, and chest measurements.
Height:
Stand straight against a wall with no shoes on. Place a thin flat book
or ruler on
top of head to be 90 degrees angle to the wall. Measure from back of
heel to top of flat surface.
Waist: Measure at the tummy-button or where the garment is required
to be worn.
Chest: Measure around chest area placing tape measure directly
under armpits.
Hip: Measure 12cms below waist for sizes/ages 2-6, 15cms below
waist for sizes/ages 7-10.
Trousers only:
Measure an existing pair of trousers to establish the correct side length
. Take measurement from top of waistband
Sleeve length
Taken from the base of the neck , along the top of the shoulder
, down to the elbow , then to the crease of the wrist.
